Together we'll remember the faithful departed, give thanks for the communion of saints, and celebrate the hope of the resurrection. Anchor Point, Monday, October 26 at 5 pm — Final Gathering until Spring!
Join us as we celebrate the gardening and growing relationships.

Our connection with ARocha led Biologos to us to hear about Mthr Jen and our project at Anchor Point — it is also a lovely example of our understanding of the church’s role as the Body of Christ in a community. Read it (and share it!) here.

Continue to give thanks for the landscape [the natural beauty],
the small daily insights,
the simple relationships with neighbors,
the present as “ETERNAL”.
-the monks of Tibhirine, Algeria, set this rule for themselves after the first phase of their discernment during their time under great duress, their lives threatened…

Dear friends,
Thank you for being with us last week as we had a beautiful service including Mako’s message on Trust Based Parenting. If you missed it, be sure to check out the sermon on our Podcast page.

We have a special service this week as we continue our Communal Discernment discussion.
A few weeks ago as we thought together about communal discernment, I referenced the Trappist monks of Tibhirine. We will visit their story a little again tomorrow, including the amazing rule they set themselves, remarkable for a people under such great stress. I hope you can be with us!
Peace,
Tim+

ALL SAINTS + NAMES
All Saints Day: the day in the church’s calendar when we commemorate not only the famous saints, but all the great mystical-and-real communion of saints who are alive now and, especially, those who have gone before us.

An important part of this commemoration is when the celebrant says the names of the beloved who we have lost in the past year.
Before Thursday evening October 29, please send Michael the names of anyone beloved of you who has died this past year or recently, who you would like to have lifted up before the Lord during Holy Eucharist this Sunday.

ANCHOR POINT GARDENING Final Gathering until Spring!
Our connection with ARocha led Biologos to us to hear about Mthr Jen and our project at Anchor Point — it is also a lovely example of our understanding of the church’s role as the Body of Christ in a community. Read it (and share it!) here.

Because it has been so meaningful to both residents and parishioners, we are extending our 2nd and 4th Monday garden club gatherings at Anchor Point through the end of October. Our next regularly scheduled gathering is Monday, 10/26, from 5-6pm. All are welcome!
Whether or not you’re a gardener, join us at the garden space at Anchor Point 5pm-6pm on the 2nd & 4th Monday.
Anchor Point is the community at the corner of Sohier and Tozer roads in Beverly.
