Prayer and Blessing Opportunities

After Communion
Before returning to your seats after communion, we invite you to pause with a prayer minister stationed in the rear of the sanctuary. We will usually pray for the Lord to meet you in your hopes and cares.

 After Church
At the end of each Sunday service, if you are carrying a weight or concern for something, you are invited to bring whatever is on your heart or mind to our trained prayer ministers. As the Lord leads, we’ll pray with you for about 5 to 10 minutes. The Lord loves to hear you bring your requests, even if you are uncertain as to exactly what your requests are.

InDepth Prayer Appointments
Some situations in our lives are so complex that a longer InDepth Prayer appointment is helpful. Trinity North Shore prayer ministers have been specifically trained in how to pray into the weightiness and complexity of our lives so that we can experience relief and hope and healing. You can schedule a 2-hour InDepth Prayer appointment by emailing prayer@trinitynorthshore.org

 House Blessing
Since the earliest times of our faith, believers have sought representatives of the church to come and bless their homes. The Book of Occasional Services has a room-by-room liturgy used to pray for the grace of God's presence in your home. At the beginning, the priest prays that the Holy power of God be present in the home “to banish from it every unclean spirit, to cleanse it from every residue of evil, and to make it a secure habitation for those who dwell in it.” At the end, the priest prays that God's blessings abound.
