  • Edelweiss Women's Group

Edelweiss Group is a small weekly, daytime women's group meeting on Thursday mornings from 9:30am to 11am in Manchester by the Sea, MA. Each time we meet, we'll begin with a time of check-in/sharing followed by a liturgy of music, prayer, lectio divina, silence and eucharist.

We use the name Edelweiss intentionally as we hope to "bloom and grow" together. Edelweiss comes from - -  'edel' meaning noble, and 'weiß' meaning white. The edelweiss bloom carries a meaning of devotion. The symbolism of devotion derives from the fact that the edelweiss flower grows in some of the toughest alpine conditions in the world.
